The event, in its 15th year, was organized by the Department of Communication Systems NTS at the University of Duisburg. Commenting on the subject of the presentation, Gintare said, “Aspiration detection has come a long way in the last five years. Technology advances such as sophisticated filtration and advanced connectivity have had a dramatic impact on the nature of applications being protected by aspiration systems.

“Once regarded as a specialist fire detection solution for protecting niche applications ASDs have evolved to cope with a wide range of applications from the hostile to more mainstream.  Technology, education and legislation is driving market change and encouraging the specification of aspiration detection as a cost effective method to reduce risk and deliver the earliest and most accurate fire protection.”
