Comms Expo Attracts Mission Critical Audience

Comms Expo in London was the location for the European launch of FAAST. The event is targeted at the data centre and IT community – an important market for FAAST, due to the high value assets the device protects. Amongst the 3,000 visitors to Comms Expo and the IT Decisions Show, co-located at the same venue, were IBM, Hewlett Packard and other key IT businesses along with data centre designers and manufacturers. All enterprise critical organisations concerned with avoiding revenue loss and reputational damage associated with business downtime.

At Stand 23, the FAAST team was on hand to demonstrate the importance of very early warning fire detection. The focal point of the exhibition was a live demo of the technology and a speaker session at the start of the show entitled “A fire could destroy your business in seconds”. Jeff Klein of Honeywell Life Safety delivered the session on the importance of protecting enterprise-critical equipment in data centres and how FAAST helps achieve the highest level of protection.

Visitors witnessed live demonstrations of FAAST at Stand 23, along with a unique remote monitoring service which allows you to connect from any location. The device was connected to a tablet device, showing FAAST going into alarm, as a result of an overheating PCB resistor.
