New Aspiration Product To Launch at SFITEX in Russia

System Sensor Russia is set to launch FAAST LT, the latest product in the FAAST aspiration portfolio at SFITEX, the St Petersburg International Security and Fire Exhibition on 22-25 October in Russia (booth B13). FAAST LT introduces high sensitivity detection for challenging EN54 applications where standard methods of detection do not provide sufficient protection.

Also on show at the event is the FAAST IP enabled aspirating device which offers ultra sensitive, very early warning in enterprise critical environments such as data centres and IT / telecoms facilities. The device is having a significant impact on the Russian fire detection market, with an increasing number of contracts received for warehouses and airports. It is also changing the shape of the aspiration detection market, due to the technology involved.

Visitors to the System Sensor Russia Booth will be able to see a live demonstration of FAAST, including a unique remote monitoring service which allows you to connect from any location. They will also have the opportunity to find out more about the new FAAST LT product which is launching across Europe and Russia this month. FAAST LT combines laser smoke detection technology with ultrasonic flow sensors to provide effective fire detection for EN54-20 Class C applications such as harsh environments with extremes in temperature, humidity and airflow.

Sergey Shchipitsyn, Business Leader for System Sensor in Russia, said, “We introduced FAAST to the Russian fire detection market earlier this year and have been overwhelmed by the interest from key systems integrators but also installers and end users. The dual vision laser and IR technology differentiates dust from smoke, dramatically reducing false alarms, which can cost businesses millions of pounds and which is a problem with existing aspiration systems. Adding FAAST LT to the portfolio extends our expertise in the aspiration space and will give us an edge when competing for projects. Put simply, it will enable us to grow our aspiration business significantly in the next 5 years.”
